Styling A Plaid Blazer

Every corner in SOHO has the most perfect little coffee shop, like one of my favorites, Maman. When you get the chance to visit, please do so! You will leave with a smile on your face from all the sweet details you’ll discover.

This blazer has been a long time favorite, whenever I am able to wear it, I get so excited! I believe in falling in love with investment pieces, and loving it for years to come. I do my best not to follow trends too closely, my style has to feel uniquely me.

It happens often, while we scroll down our feeds and see the same pieces, repeated by each style influencer. Every trend is not meant for every person, or every figure, or every wardrobe. Select wisely and choose for long term. For instance, the bell sleeves, the exaggerated ones especially are overpowering for my petite frame, so even though I adore the look, I admire from afar. Plus, its so important to feel confident in whatever you wear. That speaks volume. When you step into a room, your outfit may be cute but your confidence will either pull the whole look together, or make your look fall flat. I believe the source of confidence in an outfit comes from feeling like ourselves and feeling comfortable in what you’re wearing.
